I’m a bilingual speech-language pathologist, private practice owner, and proud mom. For over 15 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping autistic and neurodivergent children find their voice and feel truly understood.
Why I Created First Phrases
First Phrases® was born from love, lived experience, and the belief that every child deserves to be understood.
As an award-winning speech-language pathologist, private practice owner, and mom, I saw too many kids eager to connect in their own beautiful way but without the right support. This was along with too many heart centered professionals doing their best without the tools and education they truly needed. So, I began creating what was missing.
What began as a passion became a mission: to make communication support simpler, faster, and more effective, so every child can find their voice and every professional can feel the joy of helping them do it.
My Work & Recognition
Alongside First Phrases, I am a pediatric private practice owner of One-on-One Speech Therapy in New Jersey and created a nationally recognized summer program . A graduate of Columbia University, with over 15 years of experience across early intervention, schools, medical settings, and private practice, I bring a holistic, sensory-informed, play-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approach to helping children communicate with confidence.
My dedication to advancing joyful evidence-based care has been nationally recognized.

I currently serve as President of the Morris County Speech and Hearing Association, mentor and train professionals worldwide and am fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi. I’m passionate about creating connection, belonging, and real progress for every child and every clinician supporting them.
